* Represented India at the 3rd Asian Basketball Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 1965.

* Represented India Arab League, playing matches in most of the Gulf countries.

* Played and led Rourkela Steel Plant team in an international invitation tournament in Sri Lanka in 1973.

* He was part of the Services team that won the Senior National Basketball Championship five times.

* Represented Odisha in Senior National Championship as a player 15/16 times, till 1995.
